Akin Brothers Floor Stores is a local flooring company that has proudly served the Oklahoma City metro for nearly 50 years.
Following an accomplished football playing career that took him from Oklahoma State to the San Diego Chargers, Harold Akin settled in Oklahoma City and opened Carpet World in 1971.
Today, the company is owned by Harold's sons, Zac Akin and Scott Akin, and operates under the name Akin Bros. Floor Stores. The company consists of two brands, Budget Floor Store and Floor World, and three Oklahoma City metro locations.
